The SuperBowl ad that didn’t make it
If you had 30 seconds to say ONE THING to millions of people, what would it be? I wish these folks would have had the opportunity to spread the message of John 3:16 to the world in a SuperBowl Ad. FOX Sports rejected it because, (according to a Washington Times article) “it contained overt “religious doctrine”. The company maintains a policy against accepting “advertising from religious organizations for the purpose of advancing particular beliefs or practices”, ostensibly to avoid offending anyone.”
Nevermind that every ad they accepted also promoted “particular beliefs and practices.” Remember that just ’cause it doesn’t mention God, it doesn’t promote a god.
Thanks to the Internet, millions will see it anyway.
